HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Seriously-who came up with this holiday? Why is it okay to go door to door and ask for candy? :) I laugh as I watch the kids go up to each house and then look in the bag to see what they got and then the excitement that someone is actually putting all this candy in their bag!
We had a fun night at Regina's house (John's sister) with most of the family there. We chowed down on some pizza and salad first and then headed out in the neighborhood. Sophia made it a lot further than last year and I didn't have to carry her and I was thankful for that! :)
Enjoy some photos of the big night!

HALLOWEEN

Today I helped out in David's classroom with Halloween Fun Centers and it was a fun time! I was able to work in the class on Monday and being there today as well helped me to get to know the kids and I'm thankful that it's a good group!

I thought I'd share some photos!

We made a trip out to the pumpkin patch today but stopped at Lowe's first so the kids could make their glow in the dark skeleton's.

I'm so excited to have the weekend off and spend time with the family. We are having a lazy day of football watching! Now if it can only drop 20 degrees, it would be perfect! :)

DAY OFF

We had the day off from school yesterday and the kids had a blast playing all day with their friend Lauren.

We started off the day with a photo shoot with Abby Liga and if you click here you can see the slideshow of it!

Saying Goodbye!

Today was a hard day for the kids-we said goodbye to "Rattles" and "Night Night Passy"! I know it's been a while and I probably should have done it a while ago but it's not easy! Especially when it gives your child comfort. I mean Rattles is like part of the family and those of you who know us, know all about him!

And when Sophia was about 10 months old and she went in the hospital, we brough Night Night Passy back out-I mean come on, can you blame a mother for comforting her child during that time.

BUT ... I have totally put off saying goodbye to them and TODAY was the day. I just said, no better time than the present.

So to all you moms out there who know what I'm going through, I can see your smiles on your faces as you remember doing this. And for those of you who will have to face it one day, I wish you all the best! :)
